The trajectory of Efiota Okon Ephraim pursuit of education after he obtained OND in Estate Management from the College of Technology, Calabar in 1976 has taken him through the portals of other institutions to deepen his thirst for knowledge and academic fulfilment. In 1980, graduated with B.Sc in Economics from the University of Calabar; between 1991 and 1992 he studied for his PGD in Port and Shipping Management; M.Sc in Transport from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye; LLB from the Lagos State University, Ojo in 2004 and BL (Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos) in 2005.
Efiota Okon Ephraim’s work experience is as rich as his diverse academic qualifications. Between 1982 and 2017, he was an employee of the Nigerian Ports Authority where he worked in the Operations and Commercial Departments of Operations Division and retired as General Manager. He served as Port Manager, Tin-Can Island Port Between 2010 and 2013; General Manager, Ports and Terminal Operators Nigeria Ltd (PTOL), Port Harcourt (April. 2019 – April 2020).

Member, MCIT; Member, Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) He is also UNCTAD TRAINED AS A TRAINER
